Jewelry Buying Event FAQ's:Why do I need to make an appointment? An appointment guarantees you the undivided attention of the buyer, proper time to do whatever testing is required, plus the added benefit of privacy. What if I can't come in during the event?Harper & Faye Customers are invited to come in prior to the event, and leave their jewelry for evaluation during the event. (Please call ahead so we can make sure we can give you the proper attention.) Once the buyer has had a chance to examine the jewelry, we will contact you during the event with an offer. What will you do?Your jewelry will be examined, weighed and tested. If you accept the offer; we will need to record your name address and I.D. We are properly licensed to purchase "secondhand" good is the city of Boston, and this is necessary in order to comply with the regulations. This is intended only to protect the consumer by making it difficult to sell stolen jewelry! How will I be paid?If you accept the buyer's offer, payment will be made immediately by check. How much will I get for my jewelry? This is a wonderful opportunity to offer your items to a trusted expert in antique and estate jewelry, who will know what he is looking at!
